Homemaker Services

This program is funded by Title III-B of the Older Americans Act through the Alabama Department of Senior Services and the TARCOG Area Agency on Aging.

The Homemaker Program provides in-home light housekeeping services to promote independent living. This program is for adults 60 and over with health or physical limitations that prevent them from doing household chores. This is not a maid service.
Routine services include sweep/vacuum/mop, dust,
clean bathroom and bedroom, clean kitchen and living room, and other chores that are pre-approved. Homemaker Program clients must provide their own cleaning supplies.

These services are provided at no cost; however, donations are strongly encouraged to help to cover ever increasing operating costs. Donations (cash or check) may be given to the homemaker at the time of service, or mailed to STUDIO 60 Senior Center, ATTN: Homemaker Program, 2200 Drake Avenue SW, Huntsville, Alabama 35805. To donate by credit card or by PayPal, click on the Donate button, below.
