Sports

Make exercise fun by joining in a game of pickleball or sign up for one of the senior softball leagues.  Pickleball and volleyball are also played at several community centers, including Brahan Spring Rec Center, Shurney Legacy Center, Optimist Park, Fern Bell Park, and Max Luther Rec Center.

Pickleball

Pickleball has taken off at the Senior Center! Pickleball is played on a court with a paddle and perforated ball. It is similar to tennis but not as strenuous and is being played nationwide in senior centers. We provide all the equipment, and you can join us anytime!
A clinic for new players is held on Fridays from 9:50-10:50 am at the STUDIO 60 Senior Center.  There is another free true beginner’s clinic at Max Luther every Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 until noon. We ask that beginners attend a clinic before playing at one of our sites.
